Matrix-based Testing

In order to meet complex testing needs, we have adopted the matrix management model. This model makes it possible for us to cope easily with changes requested by our client in testing scope, size, schedule, and other specific requirements. Based on their expertise in certain testing areas, testers are grouped into different teams, so that projects can be completed on time and to the highest standards.

Multilingual Execution

We excel in multilingual testing, using both industry-standard and Beyondsoft-developed tools to set up multilingual environments. And we have in-house native speakers to conduct testing in Asian and European languages.

Project Management Tool

We use Microsoft Project 2000, Microsoft Excel, and our in-house developed tools, such as the "Beyondsoft Testing Center Management System." Project progress is tracked through status reports. You can take a look at our online management tool from the picture below.

Testing Tools

Apart from industry-standard tools, such as Silk Test, WinRunner and Load Runner, we develop our own tools to meet the specific needs of one type of testing. Here is one sample:

Developed by our own Tool Development Group, it can be used to check for common defects, such as missing links and images in the localized software. Main features include visual comparison, simultaneous jump, and multilingual processing.

Software

We have an in-depth understanding of software design and development. We have software engineers running software tests and we provide specific training on software development for our testers. For example, Transtudio, a software package developed by Beyondsoft, can be used for localization and testing of European and Asian software versions.

Operating Systems

We are fully conversant in Microsoft ? Windows Operating Systems, as we have carried out localization for all Microsoft operating systems from Windows 95 to Windows XP. We also have a Macintosh testing lab and provide Unix- and Linux-based testing services.

Networks

We have a solid knowledge of networks. Our testing center houses a sophisticated network for various network-based tests.
