Meet Justin Nguyen

For our September Employee Spotlight, Justin was nominated and will be highlighted in today’s interview:

Marketing: Hi Justin, congratulations on being September’s employee of the month! We’ll start by asking you some basic work questions and then some fun ones near the end.

Justin: Sounds good to me, I’m ready!

Marketing: Our first question will be how long have you been with Beyondsoft? Can you tell us about your role with BCI?

Justin: I have just recently passed 3 years mark with Beyondsoft. I am currently Implementation Lead for the Analytics team for the accounts of Toyota, Lexus, and their financial sites. My daily role is to support fellow analysts with Analytics tracking setup and improve the team’s efficiency. It is crucial that proper procedures are followed while ensuring data captured is accurate. There are days that I find myself heads-down in Javascript maze, then there are days I focus on cranking Adobe and Microsoft tools.

Marketing: We’re happy to have you in the company and cheers to more years with Beyondsoft. Where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?

Justin: Working in the field of ever-evolving technologies, I see myself continue reading and learning new technologies. I also believe that’s the way to keep up and communicate with the next generation.

Marketing: We’d have to agree with you there, technology is moving at an accelerated rate and we can’t be left behind. Now that we’ve gotten the work question out the way, what is the last gift someone gave you?

Justin: My last gift was the latest Android watch from my wife. A perfect gift for a techie like me.

Marketing: You are a lucky one, those things can do just about anything nowadays. If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why?

Justin: I would take the trip to Bali, Indonesia. I heard the place is beautiful and perfect to kick back for a few days.

Marketing: Let’s be honest here, more than a few days would be great. What is your favorite 90’s jam and why?

Justin: Though I love and listen to music every day, I don’t have a favorite genre. Really, from good old alternative rock to modern chillhop, your pick.

Marketing: Can’t deny that music helps us get through the day and power out the work that needs to be done. Alright imagine having all the money in the world, what’s your first buy?

Justin: To be honest, I don’t know. I am pretty comfy right now and don’t quite have anything on my wish list.

Marketing: Aww… well if you come up with anything let us know! Here’s the last question for you. What is one thing you cannot resist?

Justin: This one is easy, it’s pizza. Who can resist pizza? It’s a great day when we have an office pizza party.
