Celebrating Beyondsoft’s Journey in Brazil: Reflecting on 500 Days of Innovation and Growth

In 2022, we initiated our expansion into Brazil and joined the Beyondsoft Americas team. Since then, we have embarked on a journey marked by challenges, achievements, and continuous growth. We have broadened our capabilities, increased our workforce, and embraced fresh perspectives to foster a culture of ongoing improvement. 

To mark this important milestone, we are excited to share our key learnings and insights from Beyondsoft Brazil’s first phase of growth.

Culture: Building a Stronger, Unified Team

One of the most important aspects of setting up a new company in Brazil was the blending of many diverse company cultures. From day one, we prioritized open communications and mutual respect to ensure a smooth transition.

From the start of my Beyondsoft journey, I was entrusted to bring together Beyondsoft’s culture and blend it with our Brazilian team members. There was no playbook on how to achieve this. I set up regular communications channels, listened patiently, and pivoted quickly to create a strong integration between the U.S. and Brazil teams, enabling them to establish a more effective collaboration from the get-go.”

Customer Success: Embracing Challenges and Opportunities

Our primary goal was to enhance the value we deliver to our clients. Understanding their priorities and personalities of different team members broadened our perspectives and we were able to tailor our deliverables to meet the evolving needs of our clients and our leadership team to drive better outcomes for the company.

As we transitioned Customer Services to Managed Services, my new colleague – Igor Kelvin and I spent hours coordinating processes and establishing strong alignment between our teams and clients. In parallel, we were also preparing for a critical Azure MSP Expert audit. The short timeframe and elevated expectations of the project accelerated team bonding and we succeeded while growing along the way.

My biggest challenge is constantly finding ways to improve the delivery of managed FinOps services from Beyondsoft’s Managed Services Cloud Center of Excellence. Every new client brings their own requirements, and it is our daily challenge to go beyond the clients’ expectations to bring positive impact to the business.

For me, establishing partnerships that add value to our clients through the expertise of our teams is the ultimate mission. Recently, I had the immense satisfaction of leading an incredible FinOps workshop with the collaboration of various teams. The engagement and dedication of our teams were essential to make this event a success.

Growth: Investing in Continuous Learning

We place a strong emphasis on continuous learning and professional development. We encourage our team members to learn from the job, each other, and attend professional training courses.

Eduardo Santos, from Cloud Support, shared that Beyondsoft encourages the use of Microsoft Learn for training and deepening knowledge, as well as recommending the use of Labs to apply learning in practice and assess acquired skills, which allows him to learn and immediately test his knowledge. 

My journey at Beyondsoft has been anything but boring. Working here helps me to grow professionally and personally. The continuous interaction between different teams and cultures has honed my business acumen, strengthened my resilience and made me a curious learner who is eager to turn challenges into opportunities that contribute to Beyondsoft’s growth.

Looking Ahead

The first 500 days were just the beginning of a promising and exciting trajectory. Looking to the future, we are eager to grow and evolve. With the dedication and talent of our team, we are confident that we will reach new heights both as a team, and with our partners and clients.

Starting the expansion plan in Brazil was aimed at building a unique united team with the expertise to expand not just locally, but globally. I look forward to working with the team to strengthen our presence in Brazil and unlock growth opportunities.
