To drive business growth and meet rising customer demands, a leading automotive manufacturer needed to accelerate application release cycles and boost the quality and reliability of their systems in North America. But their lack of an enterprise-ready, scalable DevOps platform had produced siloed teams, long development cycles, and increasing amounts of technical debt.
Solution
Beyondsoft created a standardised set of automation tools by provisioning an enterprise-scalable, hybrid-cloud DevOps platform that integrates with their existing cloud and on-premise systems. As a result, we were able to onboard 120 applications of distinct tech-stacks by,
– Leveraging a container-first strategy in which each DevOps tool runs on Amazon ECS
– Application states stored in Amazon RDS Multi-AZ for Aurora PostgreSQL, and DevOps tool configuration persisted in Amazon EFS.
– Routes traffic via Application Load Balancer, with rule-based automation for traffic forwarding.
