Business challenge
Global specialty insurance groups payments and brokerage applications were delivering a suboptimal experience to end-users due to stability and quality issues. The insurers also wanted to ship features and updates faster to improve customer experience and reduce deployment times by automating currently manual deployment processes.
Solution
Beyondsoft containerised the payment application and modernised their payment and brokerage applications with AWS technologies. The brokerage application was rebuilt by leveraging server-less technology and moving it from Amazon ECS to AWS Lambda.
Beyondsoft implemented a DevOps methodology; Beyondsoft automated the cloud application provisioning with AWS Cloud Development Kit, implemented private Git repositories with AWS CodeCommit, and enabled automated integration and delivery with AWS CodePipeline and AWS CodeBuild. Quality and security gates were implemented with VeraCode, and regression tests with Blaze Meter to shift test and security left.
